This sand wedge is the one I have been looking for. Our local course recently put in new practice bunker
with what I would call REAL sand. Prior to that it was like hitting off a firm chocolate chip cookie full of pebble
stones that ruin the face of your sand iron. As I have gotten older I appreciate clubs that offer forgiveness
and help make the game easier and my 58 Blaster does just that. Hit about 20 practice shots out of bunker
and got out every time. The milling on the face also helps with tons of spin. I have tried other forging sand irons
and this one beats them all out of the sand. Confidence is intact to say the least. Definitely worth the try.
Now I do like a good bacon sarnie in the morning, but this 58 degree blaster sandwich beats the bacon sarnie hands down. To be fair, I am a reasonable sandist, but this 58 blaster is making look like a proper pro. I absolutely love it. I have never, ever, been able to stop the ball on a dime/penny when coming out of the sand.....now I can....I am back today to pick up the 64 to give that a blast too...Thanks Eleven!! Cheers ! For decades I've carried 2 wedges & learned to use them in different ways.
Today, we have "game improvement" irons.
So anything that makes the game easier & more fun will go in my bag.
Very high loft wedges are more tricky to use than some believe.
The Blaster covers off my concerns. At 58 degrees, it's not super lofted but it's very easy to hit, can get the shot very high & can be manipulated. And it's a real blast out of bunkers, tight lies & rough.

A high quality product that has made my close chipping onto greens and getting out of bunkers a whole lot easier! Early results mean that it will stay in my bag - though I have yet to fully master its full capability. I love the X tech grip - a step on from more traditional Branded grips (I'll be buying it for all my clubs separately) and the whole club feels quality - which at the price point and compared to other (more difficult to use) wedges - makes it a must try. Highly recommended to all who are looking to improve their close wedge play and get confidence with these shots
I have a set of Eleven hybrids which have greatly improved my game! I was therefore very keen to add the Blaster to my bag, as the course I play has green side bunkers on almost every hole.The problem I have with the Blaster is that whilst there is usually no problem in getting the ball out of the bunker, it flies too far and often ends up in more trouble through the green! This is no doubt due to my technique which I am working on, but I may well buy the 64°model, which might suit me better.
