Two rounds to date. One casual, one big charity competition. It’s been great using my new nine hybrid. It gives me so much confidence over the ball. Approaching the shot thinking you are going to put it on the Green rather than fearing you are not makes a massive difference. Watching it fly high over the defences to land plumb on the dance floor is just incredibly enjoyable. And that’s the point of playing eh! Love it already.
Bought this as part of 4 hybrid clubs I’d bought from Eleven and I was really impressed. Normally hit my 9 iron 100 yards but with this I was regularly getting over 140 which took a bit of time to get used to. The club feels comfortable and fills me with a lot of confidence when I take it out. What stopped me from giving 5 stars is when putting the club back in my bag the rubber part at the end of the grip sometimes catches on my bag which is annoying. Otherwise very pleased
I am a bogey golfer roughly ~23 handicap. I took a shot at buying this club without any type of demo or fitting, as I've been frustrated with my with my full wedge and pitch shots. Hitting this club has been great! I can get pretty much every ball up with high ball flight, consistent distance and straight. It's even excellent for pitch shots around 50-70 yards with half swings. Only thing I don't love is that it does not make the same "ting" sound as my Callaway hybrids but small sacrifice.
These are the most forgiven clubs I have ever hit. I am turning a few heads with my scores, and certainly are having a great time playing golf again. I actually purchased the five through pitching wedge set. Very easy to hit, the only knock I see against them is that face on the club may scratch easily compared to an iron. Other than that, I would recommend these clubs to anybody that is struggling hitting their irons. Shot a 37 in my league the other night, had not done that for several years.
I struggle sometimes with my irons , strangely not so my fairway woods.
This club is useful for me when I’m having issues with my 9 iron. It feels like my 7 wood , and has plenty of loft.
I do feel more confident that I’m going to hit straight and further with this club , opposed to my 9 iron.
I’d say if you’re happy with your hybrids and fairway woods , give it a go !
