At age 79 i was struggling with my conventional irons so decided to go the Hybrid route. Checked and tried out the top brands, nearly 2k for a set pw to 4 iron. Then tried eleven golf. No difference in height or distance from the expensive brands and they performed just as well if not better, however at around £600 for the same size set, pw to 4 iron, i saved about £1400. These clubs have definitely revoloutionised my game. Senior golfers if you’re looking for improvement in your iron play i can thourghly recommend these clubs. Thankyou Eleven golf.
After receiving my set (4-PW + GW) I spent time learning the distances. These Eleven hybrid irons send the ball higher and further than the irons I was using, which even have stronger lofts compared to the Eleven hybrid irons. I shot my best round of the season (78) the first time I put them into play. I often flip my hands with regular irons, leading to pull draws but with these Eleven hybrid irons the ball flight is straight and it's hard for me to turn them over, which I love.
When I received the clubs, the 5 hydrid iron had the wrong shaft. I emailed the company, got a quick response and they sent out a replacement immediately. Needless to say, I was very impressed with their customer service.
I found the clubs to be high quality with great shafts and grips. For the price they charge per club or set, I believe they are excellent value. I'd highy recommend Eleven hybrid irons!
Received 4-pw hybrid set on 4/10/24. just turned 84 years old and have gradually lost the ability to contact mid irons solidly. Have played well up to my 70s, winning our men's club championship at 65 years old. Played today with the eleven hybrids and shot 79 from mid tees.
A little problem with pw and finding where to play hybrids in stance to get the high trajectory that is in some of the videos. Am excited to play next week , after a little time on practice range .
After 30-40 years of being away from the game I tried out different clubs, really good ones that cost a lot more. I saw some videos about ELEVEN and curiosity got the best of me so a few months ago I purchased a 3 with a Senior shafts. Wow! Love at first strike! I then ordered the whole set. My game has really improved so I ordered the 3 with an R shaft. I took it to the range and hit four balls. Once again love at first strike! I am hitting the ball 15-20 yds further! My game is much improved.
These are great clubs. I have only played 4 rounds and at the beginning it was somewhat frustrating but quickly realized they work beautifully if I get out of the way and let them do the work. Just use a standard stance, aim and make a normal iron swing with minimal or no manipulations. The roll out after the ball lands takes some getting used to. Love the dispersion, tight and reliable. Very forgiving. They instill a lot of confidence. I have gained a few yards too. I have 2 traditional wedges to complete the set but I fantasize how nice would it be to have an Eleven hybrid sandwedge.
